"I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus."Larry Hincker in April of 2007, when a lone shooter gunned down 32 innocent, unarmed people on Virginia Tech's "safe," gun-free campus:
"We grieve for our families and friends. Our university is going to try to find a way to move forward. We cannot let this horror identify Virginia Tech."Yes, Mr. Hincker, grieve. Grieve not only for the loss of life, but the loss of liberty. Grieve for those who are condemned to death simply because they are law-abiding citizens who no longer have the right to protect themselves.
