Isn't It Ironic?

There are many different forms of irony, ranging from the devastatingly tragic to the down-right hilarious. Not surprisingly, I have never met a single person who hasn't been able to appreciate irony in one form or another.

Consider for a moment the search for Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. Not long ago, those on the left were asking the government to give the U.N. inspectors more time. They were taken to task by President Bush and harshly criticized by his neoconservative supporters. Now, the neocon nation-builders are asking us to give them more time to uncover those nasty, elusive weapons.

Even the most rabid, neoconservative war hawks have to appreciate the irony of the situation!
